Emilian Ramirez Killed in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on Basse Road near McCullough; Bella Garza Arrested

San Antonio, Texas (March 23, 2022) – A man was killed Tuesday night in a bicycle accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 10:00 p.m., on March 22, on Basse Road just east of McCullough.

Police said Bella Dae Garza, 35, might have been speeding when she lost control of her car, swerved, and hit Emilian Ramirez, 18, who was riding his bike.

Ramirez was killed in the crash. 

Garza and a baby in her car were taken to the hospital.

Garza is facing intoxication manslaughter and child endangerment charges.

The police are investigating the crash.
