Ricardo Alvarado Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident near Seventh Street and Pleasant Valley

Austin, Texas (March 19, 2022) – The man who was injured on February 27 in a hit-and-run accident in east Austin has died, according to the police.

Ricardo Alvarado, 67, died on March 8.

The accident happened just after 5:00 p.m., near Seventh Street and Pleasant Valley.

Police said Alvarado was struck by a white car that then fled the scene.

Alvarado was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The police are looking for the suspect.
