Abigail Rueda Killed in Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash on East 7th Street

Odessa, Texas (October 24, 2020) – One of the two people who were critically injured in a head-on collision Thursday evening in Odessa has died, according to police.

The crash happened just after 6:00 p.m., October 22, in the 1300 block of East 7th Street.

Police said Abigail Rueda, 26, was driving a red Lincoln MKX eastbound in the westbound lanes at a high rate of speed when she crashed head-on into a westbound blue Chevrolet 1500 driven by Domenic Sanchez, 35.

Both Sanchez and Rueda were taken to the hospital in critical condition where Rueda died early Friday morning.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
