Clayton Spaeth and 3 Others Injured in Car Crash at U.S. 82 and FM 1199 in Lindsay

Clayton Spaeth Among Four Injured in Lindsay Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. 82 and FM 1199

Lindsay, Texas (October 13, 2020) – Four people were injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash in Lindsay, according to the Texas Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 9:09 p.m., October 10, at the intersection of U.S. 82 and Farm-to-Market Road 1199.

DPS said Clayton Spaeth,16, of Muenster, was driving a 2001 Chevy pickup southbound on FM 1199 when he failed to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign and was struck by a 2017 Ford F-250 that was traveling westbound on U.S. 82.

Spaeth and another passenger were airlifted to the Denton hospital in critical condition.

Two other passengers were taken to North Texas Medical Center, 1900 Hospital Blvd, with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Ford driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
