Alan Maxey Killed in Abilene Electrocution Accident on Oakwood Lane
Abilene, Texas (October 30, 2021) – A tree trimmer was killed and another was injured Tuesday morning after they were electrocuted in Abilene, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened around 11:30 a.m., October 26, in the 2200 block of Oakwood Lane.
Authorities said two tree trimmers were working in a bucket truck when they were electrocuted.
One of the workers, Alan James Maxey, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, a 24-year-old man, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other information was available.
An investigation is underway.
