Robert Ramirez Jr. Hospitalized after Victoria Car Crash on U.S. 59 near Juan Linn Street
Victoria, Texas (March 15, 2019) – A man was injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash on a south Victoria frontage road, a local news source reported.
The crash occurred at about 8:15 a.m. March 15, on U.S. 59 frontage road near Juan Linn Street.
Victoria police said Robert Ramirez Jr., 31, of Victoria, was driving a 2015 Isuzu when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer which was slowing to turn from a westbound U.S. 59 frontage road into Beasley Tire.
The Isuzu rolled over after the impact.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated Ramirez from his car. He was taken to Citizens Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Gonzalo Cervantes, 58, of San Antonio, was uninjured in the crash.
No further details were provided.
The police are investigating the crash.
