Colby Harrison, Kenneth Parrish, Harley Blakeley, and Carter Bobo Weatherford Crash on FM 51 at North Bend Road

Weatherford, Texas (October 19, 2023) – Colby Harrison, 18, of San Angelo, Kenneth Parrish of Ponder, Harley Blakeley of Graford, and Carter Bobo, 26, of Springtown, were injured after they were involved in a traffic accident that left one person dead early Sunday morning in Weatherford.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash happened at around 1:13 a.m. Sunday, October 15, on FM 51 at North Bend Road.

According to the DPS’s report, a 2013 Mini Cooper was heading westbound on North Bend Road when its driver failed to yield the right of way while turning southbound onto FM 51. As a result, a 2013 Nissan Rogue and a 2018 Toyota Camry collided with the Mini Cooper.

Naomi Nash, 18, of Weatherford, who was in the Mini Cooper, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Three occupants of the Mini Cooper, Harrison, Parrish, and Blakeley, were transported to Texas Health Harris Hospital in Fort Worth. All were wearing seatbelts.

The fourth occupant of the Mini Cooper, Dakota Graham, 19, of Weatherford, did not suffer any injuries.

The driver of the Nissan Rogue, Bobo, was taken to Texas Health Harris Hospital. Kaitlyn Pruemer, 25, of Mineral Wells, who was the driver of the Toyota Camry, was uninjured.

The road conditions were dry, and the posted speed limit was 55 miles per hour.

The crash remains under investigation.
