Alfonso Moreno and Melissa Gonzalez Critically Injured in Laredo Two-Vehicle Crash on Jacaman Road near Bartlett Avenue

Laredo, Texas (December 15, 2021) – Two people were critically injured early Saturday morning in a head-on collision in Laredo, according to the police.

The crash happened around 2:00 a.m., December 11, on Jacaman Road near Bartlett Avenue.

Police said a Hyundai Sonata driven by 19-year-old Hillary Laison was traveling westbound on Jacaman Road when it collided head-on with a Chrysler 200 driven by 29-year-old Alfonso Moreno.

Moreno was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

A passenger in the Sonata, Melissa Gonzalez, was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital in critical condition.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
