Alonso Rodriguez Seriously Injured in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on North Mesa

El Paso, Texas (September 13, 2021) – According to the police, a man was seriously injured Friday night in a hit-and-run crash in El Paso.

The accident happened on September 10, in the 8000 block of North Mesa.

Police said Alonso Lemus Rodriguez, 60, was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling in the center lane.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Rodriguez was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are looking for the vehicle, which is believed to be a silver passenger car similar to a Toyota.
