Barbara Tranbanco Killed in Wichita Falls Three-Vehicle Crash on Kemp Boulevard

Wichita Falls, Texas (May 1, 2021) – A woman was killed Sunday night in a three-vehicle crash in Wichita Falls, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:11 p.m., April 25, in the 2200 block of Kemp Boulevard.

Police said a car left the roadway and crashed into two vehicles that were parked in a driveway.

The driver of the car, Barbara Tranbanco, 58, was taken to United Regional.

Hospital staff told officers that Tranbanco had needed life-saving surgery for a medical problem, but she refused treatment and left the hospital about 11 minutes prior to the crash.

Tranbanco was later pronounced dead.

The police are investigating the crash.
