Man Killed in Humble Bicycle Accident on Loop 494 near Hamblen Road

Humble, Texas (March 23, 2022) – A bicyclist was fatally hit by an 18-wheeler early Wednesday morning in Humble, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 4:00 a.m., on Loop 494 near Hamblen Road.

Authorities said a man was riding a bicycle and was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by an 18-wheeler.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The 18-wheeler driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
