Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Airline in North Austin

1 Killed in North Austin Pedestrian Accident on Airline near Rittenhouse

Austin, Texas (February 20, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night in north Houston, according to the police.

The accident was reported around 7:25 p.m. February 19, in the 7100 block of Airline near Rittenhouse.

Police said two vehicles were possibly racing northbound on Airline when one of them, possibly a pickup, hit a male pedestrian who was crossing the street.

The victim was killed in the crash.

The vehicle fled the scene. The authorities are searching for both vehicles involved.

An investigation is underway.
