Bicyclist Fatally Hit by 3 Cars on SH 288 in Houston

Houston, Texas – A bicyclist was fatally hit by three cars Monday night in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 9:30 p.m., April 15, on State Highway 288 near Binz Street.

Police said the man was crossing the northbound lanes of the highway when he was almost by an 18-wheeler and he fell off his bike. As he was trying to get back up, he was hit by at least three cars. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

All three drivers stopped at the scene after the accident. Two of them were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
