Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on 610 South Loop in Houston

One Killed in Houston Bicycle Accident on 610 South Loop near Braeswood Boulevard

Houston, Texas (June 20, 2020) – According to the police, a bicyclist was fatally hit by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Houston.

The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on the 610 South Loop feeder road near Braeswood Boulevard.

Police said a group of friends were riding bicycles when one of them was struck by a vehicle.

The driver fled the scene.

The victim was killed in the crash. They have not been identified.

HPD is looking for the hit-and-run driver.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the Houston Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
