Odessa, Texas – A bicyclist was seriously injured early Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Odessa, according to the police.

The crash happened around 6:57 a.m., near the intersection of Andrews Highway and Orchard Lane.

Police said a vehicle struck a bicyclist and left the scene.

The bicyclist was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries.
