Bobby Junior, Daughter Killed in Car Crash on Highway 11 in Morris County

Bobby Junior, 5-Year-Old Daughter Killed in Morris County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 11 near Daingerfield
Morris County, Texas (January 27, 2019) – Two people were killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Morris County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The fatal crash occurred on Friday, January 25, on Highway 11, east of Daingerfield.
DPS said Bobby Morris Junior, 37, of Hughes Springs was driving eastbound on the highway when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer for unknown reasons.
The force of the impact sent the vehicle off the roadway onto the shoulder.
Morris died at the scene. His 5-year-old daughter was airlifted to LSU hospital in Shreveport where she later died.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Jose Salomon, 49, of Tyler, was uninjured in the crash.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
