Bre Barker Killed in Lumberton Bicycle Accident on Highway 69 

Lumberton, Texas (December 10, 2019) – A bicyclist was fatally hit by a truck Friday night in Lumberton, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:14 p.m. December 6, at the intersection of west Chance Cut Off Road and Highway 69.

Police said Bre Barker, 26, of Lumberton, was attempting to cross Highway 69 in her bicycle when she was struck by a southbound F-150.

Barker was taken to St. Elizabeth, where she later died.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

An investigation is underway.
