Briceida Garcia Killed in Hays County Two-Vehicle Crash on RM 967 at Armbruster’s Curve

Hays County, Texas (April 27, 2022) – One person was killed, and four others were injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Hays County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 4:00 p.m., April 25, in the 1400 block of RM-967 at Armbruster’s Curve, between Cullen Boulevard and Haleys Way.

Authorities said a 2010 Hyundai Elantra and a 2017 Jeep Cherokee were involved in the crash.

The Hyundai driver, Noe Enriquez-Aguilar, 44, was taken to Seton Hays Hospital in Kyle for treatment. The front seat passenger, Briceida Denova Garcia, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene. The rear-seat passenger, a 10-year-old boy, was airlifted to Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin.

The driver and passenger of the Jeep, both high school students, sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
