Britney Murphy and Sherie Smith Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on West Tidwell

Houston, Texas (June 21, 2023) – According to a local news source, a TikTok influencer and her mother were killed Monday afternoon in a violent car crash in Houston.

The fatal crash happened on June 19, on West Tidwell.

According to the report, 35-year-old Britney Murphy, and her mother, 53-year-old Sherie Smith, had just left a friend’s home to go to the Juneteenth celebration in Emancipation Park when a truck hit their car. Murphy was driving. Both Murphy and her mother were killed in the crash.

Murphy was a TikTok influencer with more than 400,000 followers.

A GoFundMe has been created to help raise funds for the unexpected funeral costs.

The crash remains under investigation.
