Carolina Ramirez ID’d as One of Two Killed in Italy Crash on FM 667 near White Rock Road
Italy, Texas (January 17, 2019) – Authorities have identified one of the two people who were killed Saturday evening in a traffic crash in Italy as Carolina Ramirez, according to a local news source.
At around 5:35 p.m. Saturday, January 12, the DPS officers received a report regarding a two-car accident on FM 667, just south of White Rock Road.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a black 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was heading southbound on FM 667 when for an unknown reason it drifted into the northbound lane and hit the front left of a white 2017 Dodge Caravan that was traveling northbound.
Ramirez and a 6-year-old boy were both declared dead at the scene. Five other people were injured.
No additional information was immediately disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
