Cassandra Lizardi, Kaylee Jensen Injured in Dallas Crash on I-35E

Dallas, Texas (January 23, 2019) – Two women were hospitalized following a collision between a vehicle and a big rig that occurred last Monday evening in Dallas.
According to the authorities, the wreck took place on Interstate 35E on January 13.
Police said a car was traveling on the interstate when a semi tractor-trailer changed lanes and struck it. The impact caused the car to strike two more vehicles. The driver of the semi continued driving after the incident.
The occupants of the car, Cassandra Lizardi and Kaylee Jensen, both 21, were transported to Parkland hospital with severe fractures, head and back injuries. The report indicated that the two remained hospitalized 10 days after the crash.
The driver of the semi truck remained at large.
The deputies are searching for the hit-and-run driver.
