Charlotte Dukes Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Stassney Lane in Austin

Charlotte Dukes Killed in South Austin Pedestrian Accident on Stassney Lane near Mira Lane

Austin, Texas (August 8, 2020) – The woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident last month in South Austin has been identified as Charlotte Dukes, 71, according to police.

The accident happened on July 10, in the 700 block of East Stassney Lane near Mira Lane.

Police said a gray 2101 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound when it struck Dukes.

Dukes was taken to St. David’s South Austin Hospital, where she died on July 30.

The Honda driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
