El Paso, Texas (October 16, 2019) – A child was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night in northeast El Paso, a local news source reported.
The accident occurred around 8:33 p.m. on October 15, in the 9800 block of Dyer Street.
According to witnesses, a child was crossing the street in a scooter when he was hit by a pickup truck.
The child was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The pickup driver left the scene but he later returned to the scene.
