Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run on West Sam Houston Parkway in Houston; Raul Zabala-Munoz Arrested

One Injured in Houston Motorcycle Crash on West Sam Houston Parkway; Raul Zabala-Munoz Arrested

Houston, Texas (July 1, 2021) – According to the deputies, a motorcyclist was injured on June 15 in a hit-and-run crash in northwest Houston.

The accident happened in the 1400 block of the West Sam Houston Parkway.

Deputies said Raul Alonso Zabala-Munoz, 36, was driving when he struck a motorcyclist and then fled the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Zabala-Munoz was later arrested and is facing felony charges of failing to stop and render aid.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
