Dr. Daniel Scott Piotrowski Killed in Burleson Plane Crash near Fort Worth Spinks Airport 

Burleson, Texas (May 13, 2020) – The pilot who was killed Thursday afternoon in a plane crash in Burleson has been identified as Dr. Daniel Scott Piotrowski,51, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash occurred around 3:30 p.m., May 7, south of Fort Worth Spinks Airport.

Authorities said Piotrowski was flying his single-engine plane when it crashed not long after taking off from the airport.

Piotrowski was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has set up a GoFundMe account

Piotrowski was an emergency room doctor at Huguley Medical Center in Fort Worth.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
