Russell Jeffcoat Injured in Fatal Montgomery County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 105

Montgomery County, Texas (March 9, 2021) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Montgomery County, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 4:26 p.m., March 7, on State Highway 105, near the Olde Security Flea Market, east of Conroe. 

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2007 Honda was traveling northbound from a private driver and was attempting to turn westbound onto the highway while a 2020 Dodge Ram 3500 was traveling eastbound.

The Honda failed to yield right of way to the Dodge, resulting in a collision.

The Honda driver, Christopher Palomo, 20, of Crosby, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the Honda, Nayeli Palomo, 18, of Crosby, was taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center in stable condition. 

The Dodge driver, Russell Jeffcoat, 41, of Cleveland, was taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center in stable condition.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
