Christian Gilstrap Hit, Killed by Vehicle on W. Gentry Parkway in Tyler

22-Year-Old Christian Gilstrap Killed in Tyler Pedestrian Accident on W. Gentry Parkway

Tyler, Texas (May 5, 2020) – The man who was killed Monday night in a pedestrian accident in Tyler has been identified as Christian Gilstrap, 22, of Tyler, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:10 p.m. May 4, in the 1900 block of W Gentry Parkway.

According to police, witnesses said Gilstrap was attempting to cross the highway when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.

Gilstrap was declared dead at the scene.

Investigators said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the accident.
