Corey Berry Killed in Wolfforth Pedestrian Accident on Highway 62/82

Wolfforth, Texas (June 18, 2022) – A teenager was killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in Wolfforth, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 11:00 p.m., June 16, in the 700 block of Highway 62/82, just west of Dowden Road.

Police said James Berry, 17, of Lubbock, was attempting to cross the highway when he was struck by a car.

Berry was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The car driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
