Man Killed in Laredo Pedestrian Accident on Saunders Street

Laredo, Texas (May 17, 2022) – A man in his 50s was killed Monday night in a pedestrian accident in central Laredo, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 11:30 p.m., May 16, in the 1000 block of Saunders Street right in front of Autozone.

Authorities said a blue Mustang hit the man on the street.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The Mustang driver stopped to render aid and was not intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
