Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Vehicle on North Lamar Boulevard in Austin

Woman Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on North Lamar Boulevard
Austin, Texas (February 25, 2019) – A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday night in Austin, a local news source reported.
The deadly accident took place at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, February 21 in the 8100 block of North Lamar Boulevard.
The local news source reported that the woman was hit by a vehicle on North Lamar Boulevard.
Paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR on the woman, but she did not survive and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Her name has not been released pending identification and notification of her family.
No information regarding the driver involved was immediately disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
