Cornelius Davis Killed in Pedestrian Accident on South Riverside Drive in Fort Worth

63-Year-Old Cornelius Davis Killed in Fort Worth Auto-Pedestrian Accident on South Riverside Drive

Fort Worth, Texas (February 26, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured in an auto-pedestrian accident Friday afternoon in Fort Worth, according to a local news source.

The accident took place at about 4:30 p.m. on February 21, in the 2300 block of South Riverside Drive.

According to the report, two men were hit by a vehicle on South Riverside Drive.

One of the men, Cornelius Davis, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The involved driver, Abel Chuco Gonzales, 23, remained at the scene. He was arrested and is facing a charge of poisoning homicide.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
