Robert Platt Jr, 20, Dies in Burnet County Boat Crash on Lake Lyndon B Johnson

Burnet County, Texas (June 28, 2019) – A 20-year-old man was killed in a boat crash that took place on Wednesday night in Burnet County, according to the authorities.

The incident was reported at about 9:30 p.m June 26, on Lake Lyndon B Johnson.

Authorities said nine people were riding in a Crownline runabout-type boat when it crashed.

One person died in the wreck. The victim was identified as Robert Platt Jr., 20, of Sugar Land.

No other injuries were reported.

The Texas Game Wardens are investigating the incident.
