Cyclist Injured in Crash on Fondren Road in SW Houston

One Injured in SW Houston Bicycle Accident on Fondren Road near W. Orem

Houston, Texas (September 28, 2023) – One person was injured Wednesday afternoon in a bicycle accident in southwest Houston, according to the police.

The accident happened on September 27, in the 13600 block of Fondren Road near W. Orem.

Police said a bicycle was heading eastbound on the westbound side of traffic when it was struck by a black Ford F-150, which was making a right turn.

The cyclist was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.

The Ford driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
