Cyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on Jefferson Street in Grand Prairie; Juan Robledo-Delgado Arrested

Man Killed in Grand Prairie Bicycle Accident on Jefferson Street; Juan Robledo-Delgado Arrested

Grand Prairie, Texas (September 19, 2022) – According to the police, a cyclist was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run accident in Grand Prairie.

The deadly accident happened around 9:30 p.m., September 16, in the 2500 block of W. Jefferson Street.

Police said a man was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a car driven by Juan Robledo-Delgado, 30.

Robledo-Delgado fled the scene after the crash.

The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

Robledo-Delgado was later arrested and charged with accident involving personal injury or death, a 2nd-degree felony.

The police are investigating the crash.
