Damian Allen Michael Garza Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on IH-35

Austin, Texas (February 26, 2021) – One of the two people who were killed last week Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Austin has been identified as Damian Allen Michael Garza, 25, according to police.

The fatal crash happened on February 19, in the 7500 block of Interstate 35 South.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2018 black Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the trailer of a 2000 white Freightliner truck.

Garza and a female victim were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the female victim has not been released.
