Two Killed in Smith County Motorcycle Crash on FM 346 near CR 188

Smith County, Texas (August 6, 2023) – Two people were killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Smith County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 1:38 p.m., August 5, on FM 346 near CR 188.

DPS said two people were riding on the motorcycle when it crashed into an Audi SUV.

Two people were killed in the crash. The identities of the victims have not been released.

The Audi driver sustained injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
