30-Year-Old Daniel Stubbemann Killed in El Paso Three-Vehicle Crash at Wedgewood Drive and Edgemere Boulevard

El Paso, Texas (April 23, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured Friday morning in a fiery three-vehicle crash at an East El Paso intersection, according to the police.

The deadly crash occurred around 9:55 a.m. April 17, at the intersection of Wedgewood Drive and Edgemere Boulevard.

According to police, a Nissan GTR was traveling northbound on Wedgewood Drive when it ran a red light at the intersection and struck a Chevrolet Trailblazer that was heading westbound on Edgemere Boulevard. The Chevrolet then hit a BMW.

The Nissan caught fire in the collision.

The Nissan driver, Daniel Stubbemann, 30, was declared dead at the scene.

The BMW driver, Craig Delman, 69, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
