Jimmy Hewlett Jr Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 27th Street and Avenue Q

Lubbock, Texas (March 8, 2019) – A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on Monday evening in Lubbock has succumbed to his injuries.
According to the authorities, the incident occurred at the intersection of 2600 Avenue Q and 27th Street at about 9 p.m. on Monday, March 4.
Police said Jimmy Hewlett Jr, 44, was walking in the area when a vehicle hit him.
The victim was rushed to UMC with serious injuries and was pronounced dead on Thursday, March 7.
The crash remains under investigation.
