Deputy Constable Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Katy Freeway at North Post Oak Road

Houston, Texas (June 25, 2020) – According to a local news source, a Harris County Precinct 5 deputy constable was injured early Wednesday morning in a rear-end collision in Houston.

The crash was reported at about 3:30 a.m. June 24, on westbound Katy Freeway (Interstate 10) at North Post Oak Road.

Authorities said the deputy was in a cruiser when it was rear-ended by another vehicle.

The deputy was taken to the hospital with a back injury.

The crash remains under investigation.
