Dillon Donahoe Killed in DUI Crash on Interstate 35W in Johnson County

Dillon Donahoe ID’d as Man Killed in Johnson County Crash on Interstate 35W at FM 2258

Johnson County, Texas (November 19, 2022) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the man who died early Saturday morning following an alleged DUI crash in Johnson County as Dillon Donahoe, 35, of Cleburne.

The 1:50 a.m. collision happened on Interstate 35W at FM 2258.

DPS said a 75-year-old man driving an SUV at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of a Dodge Ram that was also traveling southbound on the highway.

Due to the impact of the collision, the Dodge Ram overturned and struck a bridge support pillar at the FM 2258 intersection.

Donahoe was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 28-year-old Katherine Lewallen, was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital where she remains in stable condition.

The driver of the SUV, James Armstrong, 75, of Whitney, was booked into the Johnson County Jail on charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

DPS Troopers temporarily blocked lanes of southbound I35W during the investigation.

No other details regarding the crash were immediately available.
