Donnie Michael McCrae Jr. Killed in Temple Bicycle Accident on West Adams Avenue at S. 3rd Street

Temple, Texas (August 9, 2020) – A man was killed in a bicycle accident early Sunday morning in Temple, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened just before 1:20 a.m., at the intersection of West Adams Avenue and S. 3rd Street.

Authorities said 27-year-old Donnie Michael McCrae Jr. was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk along S. 3rd Street when he entered the intersection and collided with a vehicle.

McCrae was taken to Baylor Scott and White, where he later died.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
