Doris Pitsenberger Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Oltorf Street

Austin, Texas (October 22, 2022) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday night in Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:21 p.m., October 19, in the 1600 Block of E. Oltorf Street.

Police said Doris Pitsenberger, 77, was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Pitsenberger was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities are looking for the driver.
