Man Injured in Manor Crash on U.S. 290 West near Abrahamson Road
Manor, Texas (April 21, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a traffic accident in Manor, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash took place at about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17 on the westbound side of U.S. 290 near Abrahamson Road.
The DPS said for an unknown reason a cement truck was hit from behind by a pick-up truck driven by a man in his late 50s.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated the driver of the pick-up truck who was trapped inside his vehicle. The patient was then taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
