Driver Seriously Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20 in Parker County

Driver Hospitalized after Parker County Crash on Interstate 20 near Weatherford

Parker County, Texas (February 15, 2023) – A driver was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Tuesday evening in Parker County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, on Interstate 20, about a mile west of Weatherford.

DPS said a box truck was heading eastbound on Interstate 20 when the driver failed to slow for slowing traffic ahead and struck a truck tractor towing a semi-trailer.

The box truck driver was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
