Drivers Hurt in Terrell County 2-Vehicle Crash on Spur 557 and Highway 80

Terrell County, Texas (April 28, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision left two drivers injured in Terrell County on Friday night, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened just before 10 p.m. Friday, April 26, on Spur 557 at U.S. Highway 80.
A preliminary investigation showed that a UPS truck-tractor hauling two trailers rolled over and collided with a Volkswagen Beetle. The events leading up to the collision were not released.
Both drivers were trapped in the wreckage and were pulled out by the firefighters. They were then flown to Dallas trauma centers with unknown injuries.
The identities of the drivers were not released.
The crash is under investigation.
