Dump Truck Driver Killed in Cedar Park Crash on 183A Toll Road near Brushy Creek Road

Cedar Park, Texas (July 8, 2022) – A dump truck driver was killed in a traffic crash Wednesday afternoon in Cedar Park, according to police.

The deadly crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 on 183A Toll Road near Brushy Creek.

Police said the dump truck was traveling on 183A when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and struck another semi-truck on the overpass. The dump truck then fell off the overpass and caught fire.

The dump truck driver died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
