Emmett Mills Dies in Terry County Crash at FM 303 and FM 2196
Terry County, Texas (September 4, 2019) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday in Terry County, according to the DPS.
The wreck happened at FM 303 and FM 2196 on Tuesday, September 3.
DPS said Guillermo Osornio, 26, was driving northbound on FM 303 when he failed to yield to the right-of-way and collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound on FM 2196.
The driver of the eastbound car, Emmett Mills, 80, was ejected by the impact of the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
Osornio was taken to Covenant Medical Center in Levelland with serious injuries.
The DPS is investigating the incident.
