Ericka Harris Killed in San Marcos Three-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 123 near Rattler Road

San Marcos, Texas – One of the two people who were killed Thursday morning in a three-vehicle crash in San Marcos has been identified as 52-year-old Ericka Harris, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened just before 7:00 a.m., December 28, on State Highway 123 near Rattler Road.

Authorities said a car was traveling northbound when it was rear-ended by another vehicle. It then veered into the southbound lanes where it was struck by a pickup truck pulling a trailer.

Two people in the same vehicle were killed in the crash. One of them has been identified as Harris.

The crash closed the highway for about six hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
