1 Killed, 1 Injured in Houston Car Crash on Katy Freeway near Taylor Street

Houston, Texas (October 28, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured Sunday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in downtown Houston, according to police.

The crash was reported around 3:17 p.m. on October 27, on the Katy Freeway near Taylor Street.

According to witnesses, the crash involved three to four cars.

One person was declared dead at the scene. Another person was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The crash closed the eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway.

The crash remains under investigation.
