Francisco Flore-Resendez ID’d as Man Killed in Reeves County Crash on State Highway 302 near Mentone
Reeves County, Texas (April 16, 2019) – The man who was killed early Sunday morning in a traffic accident involving three vehicles in Reeves County has been identified as Francisco Flore-Resendez, 47, of McAllen, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly crash happened at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday, April 14 on State Highway 302, just southwest of Mentone.
According to the DPS, a semi-truck driven by Flore-Resendez was attempting to overtake on Highway 302 when it collided head-on with another semi-truck.
Flroe-Resendez died at the scene.
No other details were immediately provided.
An investigation into the wreck is underway.
